Classes are held on Saturday mornings, each session lasting one hour. This class does not involve martial arts, lessons or moves, punching or kicking drills, any complicated takedowns, sparing or ground fighting. This unique situational class enhances awareness and showcases your strengths.
Bad things can arise unexpectedly, so investing an hour of your time could be the difference between life or death. Don’t wait a minute longer. Space is limited, so register promptly.
Self Preservation: Easy to do escapes, strikes and awareness knowledge. Making space between you and the perpatrator. Using your strengths to fend off an attacker.
Awareness Knowledge: The do’s and don’ts of your everyday activities. Out and about shopping, walking the neighborhood in and out of your car, including getting gas and pulling into your driveway or garage.
Safety Awareness: Knowing your surroundings, recognizing the exits and / or escape routes. What you should know in an unfamiliar area. Putting yourself and your family at risk without even knowing it. When your phone can aid you from danger and when it becomes a hazard. Knowing your home and the items that can help fend off an attack.
Strikes: palm strikes, elbow strikes, hammer strikes and knee strikes. Including bitting, pulling hair, eye gouging, scratching and pushing.
Escapes: Easy to do escapes from grabbing the arm, clothes or hair.
Bear hugs from around the waist, front and back. Wrapping the arm attempts around the head or neck.
Escapes from the Ground: Thrown onto your back, side or face down. Defend from an attempt to mount you. Defense from dragging you by the arm or leg. Defend from punches, grabs and chokes.
Class Time: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturdays only.
Price: $60.00 every four weeks, first class is free to try (no obligation).
