Shawn is a video game enthusiast and a Star Wars fanboy. During his high school years, he learned fitness and weightlifting from his older brother Adam, which helped him excel in sports, swimming, and wrestling. In his senior year, he took an extracurricular course in fire technology, learning firefighting procedures and applications. Like his father, Shawn had a talent for art, and made his first computer animated cartoon at the age of 15. Now he has put this talent to use by creating flyers, posters, and advertisements for the Warriors Den.
      Under the guidance of his father, Master Shifu, Charlie, Shawn discovered another passion in martial arts. He has not only coached bag blast sessions for the past three years but also teaches classes in the art of ground fighting technique. Shawn currently holds a 1st degree Brown Belt and now plays a vital role in building and assuring the growth of Shui Yi Do MMA.
